Do not under any circumstances use this service when there are better providers out there. Especially for WordPress, they are trash. Their service and support are both garbage, I would not recommend this provider to my worst enemy. They will nickel and dime you for services others provide for free, stay away! Also, their chat support is full of Bots and canned AI responses, not great for tech support.
If I could I would give them a zero star. We purchased a domain name from namecheap. It turns out it is not possible to link such a domain name to web.com and have a secure link using an ssl certificate. The only option is to transfer the domain to web.com but because the domain is new there is a 60 day wait time. Never had such a situation with any other host provider.
Their server went down and my entire site was down for 2 days and Ive had an issue with the payment processing end ever since. The site isn't properly connecting with Stripe. And I've not heard from the "back end engineers" after reporting it and calling in to check on the progress for over a week. No one ever responded.
I don’t seem to understand how to do all of the building of the website but maybe I’ll pay to have them do it? It seems harder than it should be but I’m not the most intelligent person when it comes to this type of work.
I just started out with web.com but so far my experience has been great. I will continue to build on web.com to get the full experience. The pricing is great. And I love that I can actually talk to a live person.
