I have been a client of Web. com formally known as (Yodle) for almost 10yrs now. Once we signed up with them in less than a week my phone started ringing more than ever. Updates to the website we have with them are completed very quickly. ***** Five Stars *****
It has taken almost a month to get our domain released and transferred to GoDaddy. Customer Service makes up excuses and lies about when the domain would be transferred. They said all domains are released once every 24 hours. Here we are 3 days later still waiting for the release.
I had them 9yrs. Over those 9yrs my cite was constantly down. I was constantly calling waiting an hour or more everytime. Then the straw that broke the camel's back? They deleted my website that took me 6 months to create only to offer me for them to do a website for me for $1,500-2000. No thanks jerks
Just try to terminate your web hosting account with Web.com. Won't happen!
I had a web hosting account with Web.com recently. You can certainly do better. I called their too-free number, tapped my way through the menu and waited. The wait time announcements fluctuate wildly. Ten minutes...five minutes...18 minutes...2 minutes...1 hour and thirty minutes...46 minutes...click. I hung up and had to switch banks to stop the automatic monthly billing. Avoid! My advice - research the service thoroughly, including how to end the service. Sometimes that's where the big surprise is.
Have been a long-standing customer. Had great support and good response time with modifications, etc. Today, LONG wait times, LONG hold times and lost in the automated system . Techs (Stephen) have had attitude. Other techs have been friendly and helpful. It is obvious the company has exploded in volume and management not willing to address the support to STAFF this volume. Management willing to continue selling a service they can't provide. If you don't have the staff to support the web packages you have sold customers, it is only right to halt sales until quality of service is addressed. BE AWARE highly unlikely you will get what you pay for.
I've reached out to web.com support FOUR TIMES in the past five weeks and they have yet to do what they said they would do, which was to escalate my issue and get back to me with a solution. They are AWFUL.
My website has disappeared, can log on but nothing on the pages everything is gone. Even got up at 2am ( I am in Australia) to try and ring and talk to someone on line. All I am told is they can not fix it. Just throw $3500 dollars for no results… Just throw $3500 dollars for no results and more, i do not recommend web.com for any of you advertisement they charge to much fee, for example if you put $1000.00 in google ads they get $350.00 from those $1000.00 that you put on ads and the more you put ads on google the more money they take away. this is no bs what iam telling you, please business owner make yourself a favor don't hired them worst experience ever that is not included the website they charge to the customers. When i call the representative Amber Woodhams to see what is going on how come there isnt no calls, her answer was, well if you better results you have to put more money in too ads, i was shock with her answer, and i was thinking to myself and i also told Amber Woodhams with his manager if you guys cannot make work it with this budget what make me think by putting more money is going to work, they didnt have a answer. So business owner dont throw your money in this company make your research before you hire them this company there in it for the money not to help business owner to produce more calls or clients, there not focus on your business there more focus on volume of customer to make more money off of you PLEASE DON'T HIRE THEM
