STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROVIDER!
I have three servers at OVH which including the additional IPs amounts to a total monthly fee of €347.71. In mid-December 2024, two servers lost their...
IPv6 connectivity after a reconfiguration of the rack's gateway by OVH. That's why I opened a ticket, which was not resolved, but instead escalated by Joanna W., who doesn't understand how OVH's billing system works, despite several explanations from my side. She finally threatened me today with all kinds of legal consequences after I exposed her in a negative review and repeatedly abused her technical rights to close the ticket without solving any problem. In addition to the IPv6 configuration issue, I was forced by their support to include another, independent payment issue. Newly created separate tickets were repeatedly closed with the argument "I already received support in ticket CSxxxxxxxxxx". Regarding the payment issue, on January 6, I created a manual payment request to include both the monthly fees for the servers and the additional IPs in one payment, which created a new order which generated a new invoice. The system failed to mark the existing invoice for the same servers as paid, with the result that my servers were suspended for a full four days! After I explained Joanna W. her own mistakes, her new argument is that I paid the servers for February, but not for January, that's why my servers were suspended, but she would have "gracefully" extended the payment deadline for the invoice for February 2025, that's why my servers would be unblocked again. Several explanations over days were unsuccessful. Meanwhile, it's clear that Joanna W. is either incapable of understanding simple facts despite multiple explanations, or she's intentionally trolling, maybe both. I could even conclude that she's not even handling the tickets herself, but just letting ChatGPT answer them, because that's the kind of bullshit we've usually come to expect from ChatGPT! Of course, in the latter case, she's fully responsible for the escalation she caused! A separate ticket with a complaint about Joanna W. personally was closed with the same reason as before. A legally binding fax with my termination of all contracts automatically created another ticket, which was also closed for the same reason as before. The termination of all contracts on my part is now final just due to the behavior of Joanna W., which I have to summarize: 1. She ignored the initial issue with the IPv6 configuration, despite several explanations and proofs, 2. She still doesn't understand the problem with OVH's broken billing system and insists on demanding cash for an invalid invoice, even after the payment deadline was "gracefully" extended after she admitted that I had actually already paid it, 3. OVH failed in exactly the same way already in March 2024 and caused the server suspension due to an invalid invoice, which was only resolved via a "public ticket" on TrustPilot, after they came up with demands of about 7000 € by their inkasso after I declared the immediate termination, which they just ignored - handled by Joanna W., 4. She failed to handle resp. ignored my requests for financial compensation, i.a. for the days OVH unjustifiably suspended my servers, 5. She abused her technical rights several times and closed the ticket without resolving anything, 6. She caused maximum escalation by deliberately trolling, 7. She threatens me with legal prosecution and contract termination if I expose her in regular public reviews and personal complaints! The only appropriate consequence can be to fire Joanna W.! She has caused and will continue to cause lasting damage to the reputation of OVH! The online reputation management popping up below the reviews here does nothing! The final conclusion: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROVIDER!

How Rackspace grounded our company to halt…
After being with Rackspace for 15 years our company was by Rackspace stated “hacked via ransomeware” we were never a witness to this but in December o...
f 2022 our systems went down. At the time we had 2 dozen companies on a guaranteed Exchange account that we were charged by Rackspace a $150 a month for our reseller agreement. After the system was down for days we were offered a last minute deal to transfer all our accounts to Microsoft directly to handle an immediate recovery. We were told that we would be charged “$0” for this until the system was restored completely. After the months of recovery, we were told we could have Rackspace and Microsoft install Microsoft Office suite with the Microsoft to resolve the current issues. They ended up added hundreds of accounts to our system and then informed us 2 months later that we now owe Rackspace almost $3500 a month. After dozens of calls and emails to Rackspace they closed our all our email accounts for the dozens of companies that we manage. Because of the lack of support and their inability to correct the issue and to not upgrade our account or migrate them correctly. We waited months with limited communications, the accounts that were affected and then Rackspace shut down our accounts again. During this time I migrated all our accounts and closed all accounts except for the main account because I was still waiting for backup. We did not use or create email accounts with those licenses. I reached out to customer support again, I've followed up with support monthly and being told that I need to pay an insane fee to correct the account and no one ever did. I was finally contacted by the CFO of Rackspace after several emails... and was informed that the mistake was made by them and would be corrected immediately. After all the mixups, and finally getting through to the CFO of Rackspace I was promised that Rackspace would pay our company $3323.33 and provide us an apology. “now I’m getting back from Rackspace that there is no money to be paid our company and no apology for their inability to manage or mismanage all of our accounts!” At this point I would like to give Rackspace a huge “F” for Service and Support. I as A Microsoft Certified System Engineer, and a Cisco Certified Network Professional know Rackspace used to be a creditable source for hosting by reputable companies, but now am so disappointed to say that is definitely not the case any more. I highly encourage all companies and individuals to avoid Rackspace at all cost for any reason or project and if you’re currently using Rackspace I recommend that you start looking into changing hosting solutions.
